Article Processing Charge

All articles published in Online Learning in Educational Research (OLER) are fully open access and freely available online to readers worldwide immediately upon publication. OLER is committed to supporting the broad dissemination of high-quality research in the field of educational research and digital learning.

To sustain our open-access publishing model and maintain high editorial standards, OLER applies an Article Processing Charge (APC). The APC covers the cost of:
 - Editorial management and peer-review administration
 - Provision of online submission and review systems
 - Professional layout and typesetting
 - DOI registration and metadata management
 - Article hosting and website maintenance
 - Abstracting and indexing services
 - Abstracting and indexing services
 - Long-term digital archiving
 - Similarity checking (Turnitin)

Submission and Review Policy

There are no submission fees and no charges during the peer-review process.
The APC is charged only after the manuscript has been editorially accepted.

APC Amount

The Article Processing Charge for accepted manuscripts is:
   - USD 700
Payment details will be sent to the corresponding author upon editorial acceptance. Publication will proceed once full payment has been received.

English Proofreading Policy

To ensure high linguistic quality and international readability, Online Learning in Educational Research (OLER) requires that all manuscripts be written in clear, academically appropriate English.

For authors affiliated with institutions in non-English-speaking countries, professional English proofreading is mandatory prior to final publication if the manuscript does not meet the journal’s language standards.
     - English Proofreading Fee: USD 150 (additional charge, if required)
The need for proofreading will be determined during the editorial evaluation process. Manuscripts with substantial grammatical, structural, or stylistic issues will be returned for professional language editing before proceeding to publication.
Authors may:
    1. Use OLER’s proofreading service (USD 150), or
    2. Provide official proof of professional English editing from a recognized language editing service prior to final acceptance.

Please note:
  - Editorial acceptance does not waive language quality requirements.
  - The proofreading fee is separate from the Article Processing Charge (APC).
  - Publication cannot proceed until language requirements are fulfilled.
This policy is implemented to maintain the journal’s international standards and indexing compliance.

Fast Track Review (Optional Service)

If timely publication is essential, OLER offers a Fast Track Review Service designed to accelerate the peer-review process while maintaining rigorous academic standards.

 - Fast Track peer-review duration: approximately 2 weeks
 - Applicable after passing the initial screening by the Editor-in-Chief
 - Fast Track Service Fee: USD 300

This service does not guarantee acceptance; all manuscripts remain subject to independent peer review and editorial evaluation.

 Payment Policy
  - Payment is due within 14 days of receiving editorial acceptance.
  - Articles cannot be published until full payment has been received.
  - Authors are advised to ensure funding availability before submission.
  - All payments are non-refundable.
